Many of you ask us about the heel measurements of our espadrilles. Our answer is always to try to explain the difference between the total height of the espadrille and the actual height of the heel. The difference lies in the impression of height as opposed to the height of the arched insole the foot rests on while walking.

Our CALDES and LLORET espadrilles are a perfect example of a "medium heel". The total impression of height gained is 7 cm, but the arch of the insole is only 5 cm at its highest point, so the heel measures 5 cm and the sole another 2 cm.

All our espadrilles, even our sky-high heels, are designed so that your feet don't have to suffer.

The total heel height of our OSOR espadrille is 11 cm, but the arch of the insole only measures 7 cm at its highest point, the other 4 cm belonging to the platform.

It is important to pay close attention to these details and make sure you choose an espadrille you can be comfortable wearing.

The secret to figuring out the height of the heel lies in the braided strings of the wedge. You only have to decide whether the braiding is "fat or thin". Fat braiding means that the height of each string is 1 cm. If the braiding is thinner, you should allow 0.6 to 0.7 cm for each string.

If after reading these recommendations you are still unsure, please contact us and we will be happy to help you select your perfect heel.
