This lovely courtyard boasts a historical building that was turned into a civic centre in 1991 and which hosts a wealth of activities, theatre productions, IT courses, photography classes, etc. It is an old palace that was literally built on top of the Roman wall. A section of the wall was exposed in 2011 and visitors can now see one of the round towers that formerly presided over the city's entrance from the sea.
