Located beneath Plaça del Rei, this museum covers 4,000 square metres and tells the history of 2,000 years of Barcelona. It also features the best archeological remains of ancient Barcino (1st century BC to 7th century AD) including houses, plunge-pools, streets, etc.

Opening hours: Tuesdays to Saturdays, 10 am to 7 pm. Sundays, 10 am to 8 pm. Bank holidays, 10 am to 2 pm.
Closed 1 January, 1 May, 24 June and 25 December.
