Traditional espadrilles called minimal chic

Each season we find very fun new trends in the national and international fashion shows. In summer 2017, the proposals inspired by the excess of the 1980s exist alongside a minimal style, which plays around with layering and in which white shirts and tunics are the wild card garments. Along with these trends we cannot forget the current urban ethic, which fuses together ethnic and folk details with the functionality of tailoring and work clothes.

Espadrilles Barcelona goes back to its roots with various models that stand out due to their simplicity and refined lines, reminding us of more traditional espadrilles models, which, in their origin, were used to work in the field. With a contemporary look, more authentic espadrilles become completely contemporary pieces, the object of desire of trendy jackets.

The three ETNA models, made in leather, an iridescent fabric or printed with wide stripes, convey the beauty of timelessness to us. It is a flat espadrilles model, open at the tip and the heel, which grabs attention due to its simple beauty. BEGUR and BLANES remind us of strappy espadrilles, but completely updated with the inclusion of a 9 cm heel and eye-catching combinations of colours on the straps that decorate them.

The prints also determine that we can consider a model to be ethnic, when its inspiration reminds us of other cultures. The SIROS-I model, an open espadrilles model with a 7 cm heel with graphic motifs in warm colours, perfectly combines with Cuban inspired outfits and earthy colours, yellows and khaki greens.
